Illustrative enterprise data infrastructure

Product engineering

Our founders have built an AI product and grown it for enterprise use. We bring that operator perspective to new builds and AI capabilities inside existing software.

Start with the user journey

A product needs to solve a recognisable problem for the person using it. Define that journey before expanding the feature list.

  • New AI product development
  • Existing product enhancements
  • Roadmap and integration review

Bring the disciplines together

Models depend on data, application logic and integrations. We work across those foundations rather than treating AI as an isolated feature.

  • Python, JavaScript and C#
  • Data pipelines and application integration
  • AI-enabled workflows

Prepare for the next owner

Agree the knowledge, documentation and operating responsibilities needed after the build. Scope and ownership arrangements belong in the engagement.

  • Product evaluation
  • Handover requirements
  • Delivery scope and responsibilities

Problems product owners bring us

Product teams tend to arrive with one of three problems. Customers are asking for AI features and the roadmap has no room for them. An early version exists but will not hold up under real users and real data. Or there is a product idea and no engineering team to build it. In each case the risk is the same: spending months on features before testing whether they solve a problem a user would recognise.

  • AI features customers now expect
  • A prototype that needs to become a product
  • An idea without an engineering team
  • A roadmap with no spare capacity

What we have built

We build and maintain our own platforms, so we know what a product needs after launch. ADAM OS, our AI-enabled digital asset and marketing operating system, runs for a partner network with 100+ dealer partners across 500+ locations. For EHR product owners and independent hospital chains, we built healthcare AI modules that are plug-and-play, customised per client and added inside the system people already use. AI added to an existing product is a common request.

  • ADAM OS: 100+ dealer partners, 500+ locations
  • Healthcare AI modules for EHR product owners
  • AI features added inside existing software

How to start

Bring the product, or the idea, to a short call. We will ask who the user is, what they do today, what data the product holds and where AI could remove a step. From there we agree a first scope small enough to test with real users. If you need a standing team more than a project, we also build whole teams and hand them over on a build-operate-transfer model.

  • Short call about the product or idea
  • A first scope tested with real users
  • Project delivery or a team built for you

Questions that come up

Can you add AI features to a product we already have?

Yes. Enhancing existing products is a core part of this service. We review your codebase, data and integrations, then add the feature inside the product your users already know. Our healthcare modules for EHR product owners were added this way.

Who owns the code and the product?

Ownership, licensing and handover are agreed in the engagement before work starts. Documentation, and preparing your team or the next owner to run the product, belong in that agreement. Raise this on the first call so that nothing is left to assumption.

Which technologies do you build with?

Mainly Python, JavaScript and C#, with other tools chosen for each project. The choice depends on your existing product, the skills of the team that will maintain it and what the feature needs.

Can you build a team for us as well as the product?

Yes. Alongside project work, Data Prophets builds whole teams and hands them over as a GCC or AI centre of excellence on a build-operate-transfer model. We have built and handed over two such centres, each with 80+ people.

Let’s talk about your next step.

The workflow, the data and what needs to change.
